Eric Polite II (he/him) is a liberatory coach, consultant, and facilitator with over 20 years of experience guiding leaders, teams, and organizations through transformative learning journeys. At the core of Eric's practice lies an unwavering commitment to social justice and social diversity. This dedication fuels his innovative approach to helping organizations foster inclusive environments where individuals can perform at their best, both individually and collectively.

With a strong foundation in leadership development, Eric is dedicated to empowering emerging and established leaders—especially those who are 'firsts' or 'onlys' in their spaces—to lead with authenticity, power, and purpose. His coaching philosophy is centered on guiding clients through the inner work necessary to gain clarity, confidence, and the courage to navigate their workplaces and the world more effectively.

Eric earned a B.A. in Sociology and Africana Studies from Bucknell University. He is an ACC-certified coach through the International Coach Federation. His credentials include Certified Diversity Executive, 360 Inclusive Leadership Compass, and Leadership Circle Profile, among others.

When Eric is not working to help people and organizations heal, learn, and grow, he enjoys reading, playing basketball, traveling, and doing anything that involves good food, friends, and music. He lives just outside Dallas, Texas, with his wife, daughter, and two Labradoodles, Neo and Zora.

I loved the small group in this class and doing the breakout room exercises as a full group with the coach present.

It really helped to solidify the learnings to have the moderator talk through the “breakout” room and ask questions while in process.
