Alex brings 20+ years of experience at the intersection of leadership development, executive communications, and organizational change. He has partnered both as an inhouse leader and external consultant with Fortune 500 clients in Silicon Valley and globally to facilitate growth and transformation at companies including Hewlett Packard, Visa, Google, Pfizer, Charles Schwab, Workday, CEMEX, Walmart, Lilly, and others. What makes his approach distinctive is the integration of three disciplines: the science of how people change (neuroscience-based coaching), the craft of how leaders communicate (executive communications, presence, and storytelling), and the strategy of how organizations transform (change management and culture work). The result is a practice that works at the level of the individual, the team, and the system simultaneously.
Alex's client engagements span three areas:
Leadership Coaching: one-to-one and group coaching that raises self-awareness, presence, and confidence, and builds high-performing habits that are especially relevant today, such as agility, adaptability, emotional regulation, and growth mindset. Drawing
on methodologies including the NeuroLeadership Institute framework, the Co-Active model, Positive Psychology, and Positive Intelligence, his coaching enables powerful shifts.
Strategic Advisory: working with leadership teams on the organizational foundations that make transformation possible: vision and mission clarity, stakeholder engagement, communications strategy, and cultural alignment for sustainable change.
Workshop Facilitation & Leadership Training: experiential programs empowering the skills that help teams thrive, including communication, decision making, delegation, feedback, and conflict resolution. Using the Decker methodology among others, Alex has facilitated workshops for hundreds of participants worldwide. His work spans industries, including tech, pharma, finance, energy, and retail. He has aligned communications for 325,000 HP employees, led the culture change behind Blue Shield of California's Great Place to Work recognition, guided Lilly's ethics and compliance rebranding in 40 countries, and facilitated numerous mergers and acquisitions, including Gymboree's divestiture of hundreds of Play & Music schools.
