She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, a Certified Mentor Coach (CMC) and an Everything DiSC-certified partner with extensive experience coaching and developing leaders across Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations.
With more than 15 years of experience in communications, journalism, marketing, and content strategy before transitioning into leadership development and coaching, Lisa brings a unique perspective to executive growth and workplace dynamics. Her work centers on the belief that communication shapes culture, trust, and leadership effectiveness. She combines evidence-based coaching methodologies with storytelling, emotional intelligence, and practical leadership development strategies to create transformative learning experiences for leaders and teams.
Lisa has coached leaders within organizations including NASA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the General Services Administration, the Department of Defense, KPMG, Nestlé, CVS, Revlon, Highmark, Prisma Health, and the Association for Talent Development. Her coaching focuses on leadership presence, communication, career transitions, self-awareness, team effectiveness, and navigating change with clarity and confidence.
A dual citizen of the United States and Italy who grew up in Rome and later moved frequently as a military spouse, Lisa developed a deep understanding of people, cultures, and interpersonal dynamics. Known for her high emotional intelligence and energetic facilitation style, she creates psychologically safe, engaging environments where leaders can challenge assumptions, deepen self-awareness, and drive meaningful growth.
In addition to coaching, Lisa is an active leader within the coaching and learning community. She serves on the board of the ICF Metro DC Chapter, chairs the George Mason Coaching Alumni Steering Committee, and has led the Capital Coaches Conference—one of the East Coast’s largest coaching conferences—for the past three years.
Prior to founding Blue Pinecone Consulting, Lisa held leadership roles in media, healthcare, SaaS, nonprofit, and association organizations.
