Inspiring and empowering people to unlock their potential is Julie’s passion. For nearly two decades, Julie has trained and coached hundreds of individuals – ranging from senior executives to entry-level talent - from a diverse array of backgrounds and cultures. Past clients and employers include Fortune 100 companies, the world’s largest humanitarian network, one of the world’s largest scientific associations and top-tier universities.
Julie is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership and previously taught at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University where she worked with students from 70+ countries. She previously served as the President of the Maryland Career Development Association and is a graduate of the Maryland Equity & Inclusion Leadership Program. Her work has been recognized for innovation by the National Association for Colleges & Employers.
An alumna of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program and an ICF-certified coach, Julie believes in the transformative power of coaching. She also holds degrees from the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), University of London and Barnard College, Columbia University and is a former Fulbright Scholar. Her work is strongly influenced by human-centered design and strengths-based approaches including appreciative inquiry and positive psychology.
