We’re thrilled to announce we’ve raised a $16m Series A to accelerate our mission to reimagine corporate training for the modern workplace!
This funding comes at a time of rapid growth for Hone, and we’re excited to be able to accelerate development of our live learning platform, build additional classes, and further grow our visibility in the market to keep pace with the needs of our customers.
The world of work has changed dramatically over the past 18 months. Remote/hybrid work is here to stay, and companies are scrambling to cope with the challenges of this new environment. Employees are moving jobs and raising their expectations of employers. The mission-critical way to address all these challenges is to invest in employee growth and development. Yet, traditional training programs and e-learning libraries are unengaging and unfit for today’s needs. It’s time for a new way to learn at work.
At Hone we’re pioneering a new kind of learning experience that blends the best of live online small-group classes, human instructors, and social learning with the best of technology to reinforce, scale, and measure training like never before. We’ve grown 10x since the pandemic and are now running our bite-sized live video classes over 300 times per month for thousands of learners across 58 countries, making us a leader in the live online group training space. Furthermore, our learning analytics show 90% of learners have made a lasting behavior change as a result of our programs.
We’re proud to help over 100 companies like GoFundMe, Aramark, Rover, Clear, and Oura Ring to deliver career-changing live learning experiences on topics like management fundamentals, diversity, equity and inclusion, personal productivity and more at enterprise scale.
The new funding round was led by F-Prime with participation from Cowboy Ventures, NextGen Venture Partners, Slack Fund, Gaingels, SemperVirens, and Swift Ventures and we’re excited to welcome John Lin of F-Prime to our board.
The additional capital will allow us to add deeper learning analytics to our platform, more engaging community experiences, and additional content in areas like coaching, teamwork, DEI, wellness, and mental health. Our aim is to continuously develop new and better corporate learning experiences that address the needs of modern teams, and deliver them at scale in a fun and engaging way with very low effort by the customer.
