Develop a Differentiated Strategy

(103)

Strategy is a hypothesis about which kinds of actions would best help you achieve your goal, and as hypotheses go, it’s an expensive one. A strategy is effective when you pour your resources into executing it. But the wrong strategy will suck up your time, energy, and money without anything to show for it.

In this class, we will explore examples of effective team strategies, conduct both a SWOT and a TOWS analysis to generate differentiated strategies, and plan out how to navigate the tradeoffs of focusing on your strategy and saying no to things that are tempting but out of scope.
