With 10+ years of experience in tech and SaaS, Cheryl is a career people- and org- developer. She helped lead Greenhouse to the #1 spot in 2017 on Glassdoor’s ‘best places to work’ and contributed to the introduction of ELTV (Employee Lifetime Value) - a method for measuring the ROI of investing in People. Ciara Lakhani

Chief People Officer at Dashlane

Ciara is the Chief People Officer at Dashlane, a password manager and digital identity application based in Paris, New York, and Lisbon. Prior to her role at Dashlane, she led the People & Culture team at Compass - scaling the organization from 84 to 400+ employees. Ciara studied Psychology at SUNY Geneseo and has a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. 

Julie DeBuhr

Director of Employee Engagement at InVision

Julie is the Director of Employee Engagement at InVision, the Digital Product design platform powering the world’s best user experiences. In her current role, Julie has the unique challenge of leading the people development and engagement function for a fully remote, global workforce of 700+ employees. Prior to InVision, she was the Global Director, HR Business Partner at New Relic, and honed her HR career as a Sr. Employee Relations Manager at Nike, Inc, after years in Direct to Consumer Retail Operations. Julie has over 20 years of experience and deeply believes that Human Resources is a key business partner in any company. She is passionate about creating a respectful, open and honest workplace where employees can do their best work.

Greg Besner

Founder & CEO at CULTUREIQ

Greg is the founder and CEO of CultureIQ and an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to launching CultureIQ, Greg was the CFO of SecondMarket and the founder and CEO of Computershare Executive Services, (formerly known as Restricted Stock Systems, Inc.).  He is also an investor and board member for numerous companies, including Zappos.com until the company’s sale to Amazon.com.  Greg earned his M.B.A from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and earned his B.A. from Rutgers University.

Tom Griffiths (Moderator)

Co-Founder & CEO at Hone

Tom Griffiths is the co-founder and CEO of Hone, the live online manager training platform. Prior to Hone, Tom was co-founder and Chief Product Officer at gaming unicorn FanDuel for eight years where he helped create a new product category and industry. He has a lifelong passion for education and business and is grateful for the opportunity to combine the two with Hone. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter.
