Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Rie has lived and worked in several countries, including Taiwan, Thailand, the US, the UK, and Australia.

With over 15 years of international business experience in diverse industries, including hospitality, higher education, e-commerce, and IT, Rie has managed teams and worked in international environments with over 50 nationalities. She is highly knowledgeable about intercultural issues and is committed to helping global managers and teams navigate the complexities of working in culturally diverse environments.

Rie holds a master's degree in business management and a bachelor's degree in International Relations. She is a certified culture trainer, NLP Master Practitioner, and TESOL teacher.
Her teaching style is highly dynamic and engaging, with a focus on interactive workshops and training sessions that help participants build their personal strategies for overcoming cultural challenges.

In addition to her expertise in global leadership training and intercultural training, Rie also specializes in country-specific training for individuals and teams, including living and working in Japan/Australia, how to adapt to a new culture, and induction training for international teams or students. Her approach emphasizes the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and she is committed to helping organizations create cultures that promote equity, inclusion, and respect.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Rie speaks English, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), and Hokken. She is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and helping organizations create cultures that celebrate differences and foster collaboration.
