Daughter of an artist and a military attaché, who grew up on the farm and immigrated to the U.S. after the tumultuous collapse of the Soviet Union, Katia learned early on that life doesn't have simple answers and often holds seemingly contradicting truths. This ability to navigate polarities and reinvent herself led Katia to a vibrant 18+ year career spanning industries and functions, including leading marketing and sales strategy for a global tech consultancy, producing documentaries and TV shows, and co-founding a digital advertising agency and a women's fashion brand.

Over the last 5 years, Katia carefully built a portfolio career that focuses on one sole purpose: helping people integrate parts of themselves and tell their leadership stories. This includes leadership development coaching for some of the top advertising agencies and tech companies, coach training and mentoring, and facilitation. Katia is a professionally trained and credentialed coach, with a number of advanced trainings, but her biggest learning and inspiration always come from witnessing the resilience and strength of human beings she has the honor to work with. Currently, Katia is also working on building her life-long dream of creating a retreat for people to heal with the help of nature and animals in the Catskills Mountains in New York.

Katia is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation, and a certified Conscious Business Coach. She holds an MBA from Scranton University and an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from CUNY Brooklyn College.
